Overlooking Lake Coeur d’Alene, Gozzer Ranch provided the perfect all-in-one venue for Madison and Raiden’s multi day wedding. As destination wedding videographers, we were absolutely thrilled to capture their wedding in a place that meant so much to them. From the moment we first talked to them, we knew it was going to be an unforgettable weekend.
Gozzer Ranch was the place that Madison and Raiden became who they were today. After Raiden’s mom (Bryna) and Madison’s mom (Riley) met at a retreat years ago, they became inseparable and the best of friends. It didn’t take long for Bryna to invite Riley and her family to come spend the weekend at Gozzer Ranch in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.. Such a simple invite turned into soulmates that never let go of each other after their first meeting. From the longest talks of their life to some of the craziest adventures (like driving to California together after not telling anyone), they found the best of friends in each other and knew one day they would be standing at the altar together at the place that started it all.
The weekend started with a Swing Before the Ring, having the couple rent out Ponderosa Springs Golf Course for an afternoon of camaraderie and competition. After hours of shooting people playing like pros, friendly competitions, and maybe a couple of balls hitting roofs and lakes, we got our first glimpse of Gozzer Ranch for a rehearsal followed by an intimate dinner by the lake that ended with a spontaneous jump into Lake Coeur d’Alene.. Through it all, it was impossible not to capture the energy and love that surrounded them during every moment of the day. Speeches consisted of the same thing over and over again: Madison and Raiden were meant to be and their faith was an unshakable pillar that created the most perfect relationship.
Madison and Raiden’s wedding was a combination of the most heartfelt moments, love for their faith, and a group of people that loved them with the entire fiber of their being. The couple emphasized their love for their faith with a song of worship that invited the entirety of their guests coming together at the altar and singing with them. Alongside their love for their faith, their vows showed their innermost thoughts and commitment to each other and the connection they had from the moment they met. With views of the mountains on the prettiest lawn overlooking the lake, nothing about their day ever lacked in awe. As experienced wedding videographers, we instantly knew that Gozzer Ranch is an ideal venue and location for couples seeking breathtaking views and the most unforgettable weekend experience.
The reception was just the cherry on top of the weekend, with Madison and Raiden beaming with the most radiant energy now as a married couple. The dance floor was packed the entire night as guests celebrated them, danced with them, and pulled out the most entertaining moves we’ve seen. The night never wanted to come to an end, as their private last dance ended with them sprinting through sparklers and hopping into a golf cart, everyone traveled down to the lake club for late night bites and Madison’s favorite part of the night, taking turns on the mechanical bull. Throughout the entire weekend, one thing was for sure, Madison and Raiden cared about their guests and the experience for everyone, hoping to shine a light on why Gozzer Ranch is and always will be one of their favorite places ever. As destination wedding videographers, we will always be honored that they chose us to capture the genuine love they had for each other and the most unforgettable weekend for everyone there.
